Copyright Infringement?

I received an email today from Scribd, the website where I store my word documents, stating that two of my CFA study materials:

1 - Statistics - Formula Sheet Mini Test Level II
5 - Fixed Income, Derivatives, Alternatives - Formula Sheet Mini Test

have been removed as a result of a third-party notification that it holds the copyright and has not given permission for it to appear on Scribd.com.

I am confused as the material in my notes, including the formulas, are finance industry standards. How can the CFA Institute own copyrights for example over the convexity formula? Am I wrong? If I am infringing I will glady remove the material but I'm not entirely sure that I am. Does anyone have any thoughts? Much appreciated.

No..i dont think there is any infringement,as you have only uploaded the notes and points which you feel is important. It is entirely your work and effort.

YOU'RE NOTES ARE THE BEST EVER. IT GOT ME THROUGH 3 OF MY CPA TEST AND I WAS GOING TO DOWNLOAD THE FAR ONE. I WAS SO DEVASTATED WHEN IT WAS REMOVED, NOW I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I CAN PASS WITHOUT IT! WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR YOU TO SEND THEM TO ME? MUCH APPRECIATED.

While CPA is more about accounting, CFA is all about finance. Well, to sum up in a matter of few words, "CPA"offers you opportunities in auditing and accounting. CFA on the other hand is more about investment banking, hedge funds and portfolio management.
